Letter from the President

Dear Members,

As we prepare for our Annual General Meeting, I want to extend a warm invitation to all members of our community. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or newly curious about our work, your presence matters—and your skills could make a real difference.

The Lower Mainland Manufactured Home Owners Association (LMMHOA) advocates directly with municipal governments and landlords in the Lower Mainland, focusing on the everyday realities of manufactured home living. We address issues like rent increases, park conditions, and tenant protections.

You may also be familiar with BCMHO, the Active Manufactured Home Owners Society of BC. They work at the provincial level, pushing for broader policy changes that affect homeowners across the province. Together, our organizations form a strong network—local and provincial—working to protect our homes, our investments and our rights.

At this year’s AGM, we’ll be electing new board members to help guide our work. The following positions are open:

  • President
  • Treasurer
  • Directors-at-Large

We’re especially looking for members with skills in communication, organization, finance, outreach, or advocacy. If you’ve ever thought, “I could help with that,” this is your moment. No one starts out knowing everything—we support each other, learn together, and build a stronger community side by side.

Even if you’re not ready to join the board, attending the AGM is a great way to stay informed, ask questions, and connect with neighbours who care about the same things you do.

AGM Highlights:

  • Light refreshments and snacks will be served
  • Enter to win the 50/50 Draw!
  • Need a ride or have questions? Contact your park rep or email Teresa Jones at teresakirkwood@hotmail.com

Please join us, bring a friend, and enjoy some refreshments while we plan for the year ahead.

With appreciation,

Ken Bradshaw

President, LMMHOA
